The Heartbeat culture of Morocco and better city to visiting Fes

Morocco is a popular tourist destination and many people like Casablanca to visit and get to know the capital of Rabat. However, there is a city that many people forget that the EDF. FES is a city great and historic and cultural heartbeat of the country.

FES became the cultural and religious centre of the country after its foundation by Idris I in 789 which son Idirs II continued his work. The Idris dynasty was the first of many great dynasties that form the city of Fes, together with the cultural heritage of the Muslim population of Muslim Spain and East Arabic. There is history at every turn in this magical city.

If you truly want to experience Moroccan culture then you must visit the medina of Fes el-Bali (old Fes) which happens to be living in the medieval Islamic world's largest city. There is nothing that I can write that never really will prepare you for the experience. My friend compared to Souk in the Disney film Aladdin. Is an overload of the senses with a profusion of sound from local suppliers and smells as the donkeys and mules are still the main mode of transport in these narrow streets. In the narrow alleys you will find Bazaar selling Berber carpets, restaurants, shops, mosques and tannery with their huge dye pits. If it were not for the people on their phones or TELEVISIONS in restaurants you would thought it might be in every century of the past 500 years.

Medina can be confusing, as it will be hassled by sellers who want to sell you a deal, but that is all part of the charm of the city, and once you get used to the bedlam of the medina you will begin to see beyond it and see behind the veil of mystery that is EDF.
